The loading of heavy parts into machines or onto benches and carts has never been easier. With this industrial lifting device, the base can be mounted down to the floor right next to the location that could continually benefit from an easy-to-use Sky Hook. This versatile unit works well in welding departments, assembly and production areas, repair stations, loading docks, marine docks, and boat or ship decks.
The Premium Floor Mount Sky Hook models have a 30.5" tall base with 12" square base plate, ideal for mounting to cement or other suitable floor material. With the Sky Hook able to be removed from the base, the Sky Hook can be easily moved to other lifting locations or stored away when not in use.
As part of the Premium Sky Hook product line, these models incorporate our popular LoadLock clutch brake mechanism. The clutch brake allows for easy-to-operate, secure lifting of up to 500 lbs. Unlike the friction brake found in the Economy Line Sky Hooks, the Premium LoadLock clutch brake does not require the operation of a lever to control the load's rate of descent. With the LoadLock clutch brake, lowering the load is as easy as cranking the hand wheel in the counter clock-wise direction.
The Floor Mount Sky Hooks are available in both roller chain and cable configurations.
